WHY THE STEMS MATTER

Most packs hand you a finished stereo loop and that's the end of it. If the snare is too dark or the room is too wide, you're stuck EQ'ing a bounce.

With the mic channels split out you can pull the overheads down, push the sub kick, gate the toms, swap the snare, or mute everything except kick and hats. That's the same control you'd have if you booked the room, the kit, and the engineer yourself.
